With a focus on design, functionality, and safety, we create one-of-a-kind handmade glass and ceramic works.

Lightweight yet strong,
Borosilicate glass

For the glass accessories we create at Tabinokiseki, we use borosilicate glass with high clarity and beautiful color expression. This glass is characterized by being lighter and stronger than conventional glass. As a result, we offer accessories that are easy to enjoy even for those who worry that traditional glass accessories feel too heavy or may break easily. Even if the glass does break, it does not turn into tiny fragments, so it is relatively safer—and in most cases it can be repaired. Our desire for you to enjoy your favorite accessories for a long time is also reflected in how we choose our glass.

Repairs for Drop Damage and Other Accidental Damage

We also offer repair services for glass accessories purchased from Tabinokiseki, including damage caused by accidental drops. In most cases, items that have cracked or even broken can be repaired.
Please note that during the repair process, the broken areas will be melted and reheated, so the shape may change slightly.

Base fee: ¥1,500 + tax + round-trip shipping

If the item cannot be repaired under the basic fee, we will contact you to discuss the additional cost. Please contact us first through our inquiry form.

Tabinokiseki – Itoshima

We create and sell glass works made through burner work, as well as accessories made with natural stones, precious stones, and precious metals.
We also offer a wide variety of products such as leather and woodworking, jewelry, lighting, small items, and dried flowers.

    From JR Chikuzen-Maebaru Station (North Exit), take the Funakoshi Line bus (about 22 minutes / ¥200), get off at Shimanaka Iriguchi, and walk approximately 7 minutes (about 500 meters) to Tabinokiseki.

    Weekday / Weekend Timetable

    *As buses operate only approximately once every two hours, we recommend checking the timetable in advance on Google Maps or a similar service if you plan to visit by train and bus.

  • Express Bus (Ito-Shima Line) from Tenjin and Hakata

    Alight at Shima Central Park. It is approximately a 40-minute walk (about 3.2 km) to Tabinokiseki.

    *Please note that it is about a 40-minute walk from the bus stop to Tabinokiseki. We recommend transferring to a local bus instead.

    From Shima Central Park Bus Stop, walk approximately 4 minutes to the local bus stop “Hatsu.”
    Take the Funakoshi Line bus (about 22 minutes / ¥200), get off at Shimanaka Iriguchi, and walk approximately 7 minutes (about 500 meters) to Tabinokiseki.
